The agreement
By downloading or using the RiseHush app or this website, you agree to these Terms. The app is distributed through Apple's App Store; Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to your license of the app, and where these Terms are more restrictive, these Terms govern your relationship with us.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use RiseHush on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law permits.
Content and attribution
The RiseHush library contains quotations attributed to their authors with care; historical texts are used under public domain or with verified sourcing. Quote artwork you compose in the Theme Editor from your own photos is yours. Where backdrops come from Unsplash, Unsplash's license terms apply to the photography.
On-device generation composes new lines using Apple's Foundation Models on your device. Generated lines are provided as-is for personal inspiration and are not attributed to any real person.
RiseHush Premium
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. Pricing, renewal, trial, and cancellation are described in the Subscription Terms, which form part of these Terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use RiseHush to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to compromise the app, this website, or Apple's services. We may suspend features that are being abused.
Disclaimers
RiseHush offers inspiration, not professional advice. Quotes and generated lines are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal guidance. The app is provided “as is”; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiseHush shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Apple's role
Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the app. You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app; sections that by nature survive (content rights, disclaimers, limitations) survive.
